I’ve been fishing since 2 years old throughout the waters of Northern California, as both a freshwater and saltwater fisherman. I specialize in fishing for bass and trout in the lakes and all of the saltwater species off the coast of CA. I have been a strong member of the Northern California kayak fishing community and am actively involved in many of our events and seminars. I am also a strong supporter of our Northern California Heroes on the Water chapter and have been involved in many of their events since the inception of the group. I love to talk about fishing, especially from a kayak. I love introducing new people to the sport of kayak fishing, and am especially interested in the hands free fishing aspect of the Native Propel Series.
Born and raised in South Africa, I’ve been fishing for several years out of a kayak. Meager beginnings finally gave way to buying my first Native Watercraft – a Mariner 12.5 Propel. Spend as much time as possible fishing NC, VA, and SC waters from lakes to rivers, and some coastal waters. My main target species is Largemouth Bass. Just recently upgraded to the Native Slayer Propel 13 in Copperhead. My next investment will be a Versa Board for fishing the flats and smaller, shallower rivers.
My name is John Deshauteurs and I live in South Mississippi. Born in March 1988, and I’ve always been addicted to fishing. I have been kayak fishing for years now and I absolutely love everything about it. I love representing the things that have helped me along the way as far as gear, tackle, boat ect. to those who are like me, always glued to the Outdoor channel or on some form of social media watching and learning from others. I hope to one day be a professional angler one day. A person that someone can look up to as I did growing up and hopefully impact some lives to make a positive change in our younger generation and get them hooked on the right addictions.
Jason was raised fishing and camping in the Colorado region, chasing every species that swims. His passion for the sport has only grown and over the last five years and has spent the majority of his time fishing out of kayaks. He is a member of the Colorado Kayak Fishing Club and has fished in the multiple tournaments in the area. His desire to share his experiences and knowledge of fly, conventional and kayak fishing is what drives him. In his experience, Native has been his edge on the water because the propel drive gives the angler complete boat control and coupled with the stable hull it’s a fishing craft that can’t be matched in the industry. Feel free to reach out to Jason with any questions or if you’re looking for someone to fish with in the area.
A South Carolina native who lives in “Wild And Wonderful” West Virginia. Brad’s passion for fishing (particularly fly fishing) grew from his love of paddling that began on the rivers of the Southeast over 25 years ago. Growing up, he developed a deep respect for the water through rafting, canoeing, and kayaking and relocated to Fayetteville W.V. to work as a River Guide and live in the New River Gorge. For Brad, fishing has been the greatest tool of exploration on the waterways that surround him and he’s quick to share that with the people he meets. Whether he’s floating the New and Gauley rivers or paddling across a local lake he is always in search of the next kayak fishing adventure. Brad currently works in the outdoor industry as a Sales Rep. for Native Watercraft in WV and VA, where you can find him attending demos and kayak fishing tournaments regularly. Brad has never met a stranger, he’s quick to call you friend, and when he says “Hey man, let’s go fishing”…. he means it!

DAVE POSEY was born and raised in Destin, Florida. Dave has lived in Destin for 30 years and has been fishing the Northwest Florida Area for about 25 years. There is no place that Dave would rather be than on the water! You will find Dave spending most of his time fishing for Redfish, Trout, and delicious Flounder in the Flats of the Back Bays and Waterways. David is an extremely patient and knowledgeable guide, capable of teaching the most veteran of fishermen something new. David has a relaxed approach to fishing, which means people will have a great time, regardless of what the day holds. First class personal attention and a burning desire to catch fish are just some of the things you’ll get during a day with Dave Posey.
Born and raised in a little island called Singapore. I’ve started fishing at the young tender age of 9 and only really got serious into it at about 16. Mainly luring. In 2008, I had my first Kayak Fishing Experience and ever since then got hooked onto the bug! Together with my fishing buddy Don, we created a local fishing youtube channel called SGYAKATTACK, focused about kayak fishing in Singapore. I hope that our youtube channel will help spread the word of this incredible sport called Kayak Fishing!
